Tell us more about how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected you or your family. I had to leave my husband in March because his alcoholism became dangerous for my children and I. We couldn’t get away from him because everything was locked down. Luckily I had my parents close by to move in with, because there were hardly any rentals available and we didn’t have the money anyway. I’m getting hit with medical bills now even though we enrolled in Medicaid. My sons specialist isn’t taking Passport anymore. I could get his medicine because it was over $260, spent hours in line at the pharmacy and on the phone trying to figure out the problem someone finally told me passport isn’t going to be around anymore next year. I wish they were gone now so I could switch to something different. My work is suffering because I have a young special needs child at home, while I’m trying to focus and work from home. Now with school starting virtually I’m going to have to choose between my job and my kid’s education. I can’t live with my parents for much longer so I’m going to have to choose my job and let my children’s education suffer since I can’t be there for them during the day. My situation isn’t good, but I know I’ve got it a heck of a lot better than a lot of people out there. I’ve got a job that allows my to work from home, for right now at least.
