As a long time member of the healthcare community, I support the vision of Kentucky Voices for Health . The vision is to ensure that every individual in the community has a voice in local, state and national decisions that affect our healthcare. I serve as an active member of the coalition and participate in both advocacy and educational efforts. Information is readily accessible through quarterly forums, roadshows, an annual conference and community resource linkages. I encourage all my colleagues to actively participate in the Kentucky Voices for Health educational events and share information with others. Serving as a member of the coalition has helped me be more involved and get my voice heard regarding policy decisions in our state.
