In March 2025, KVH launched the Kentucky Medicaid Defense Coalition. We are a statewide coalition of individuals, nonprofits, and healthcare professionals that seeks to safeguard Medicaid and ensure access to healthcare for vulnerable populations. We have developed materials that educate about the impact of Medicaid cuts to specific populations. You can all materials here in our Medicaid Defense Toolkit.
In April, over 400 individuals and organizations from Kentucky signed on to a letter to Congress about Medicaid. Many also shared about what Medicaid cuts would mean to them and their communities. Click the images below to view our full letter and the stories submitted.
